![]() Welcome to part two of my updates from my work trip to Orlando. While I was there 100% for business, and boy did I ever learn a lot, I was also able to take some time out in the evenings to have a bit of fun. As luck would have it, my good friend Sean from California/Florida/European Coaster Kings had moved to Florida awhile back and we had made plans to hang out one night. Luckily the night he was able to hang out was the night I had planned on doing both Fun Spots. Which saved me a lot of Lyft'ing. =) Written by Gregg Condon Since Sean was at Universal doing an update and I was staying at Cabana Bay, we decided to meet up at CityWalk at around 6:00. After a very nice dinner at CowFish, we made our way to the first Fun Spot in Kissimmee. Credit #299 Hi Kitty!! I know it has a name, I don't remember what Sean told me. Hi Mine Blower!! Credit #300!!! I really did enjoy the ride, it was a bit bumpy, but I was ok with it. What a tremendous investment for the park and I hope it's paid off for them. We explored the park a bit, got the kiddie credit and then it was off to ... Fun Spot #2!!! This was my first of the Jr. Suspended coasters, I found it a lot of fun!! No SkyCoaster for us tonight We see you Enterprise!! (best flat-ride ever) The star of the show was 100% White Lightning. I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved this coaster. I wish more parks would invest in these smaller GCI's. It just goes to show you don't have to be the tallest or the fastest to be completely awesome and fun. Hey Six Flags Over Texas!!! Great Enterprise as it actually went full Vertical! A great selection of flat rides at both Fun Spot locations. And last, but not least. Had a really great time at Fun Spot. We have a few similar type parks here in CA but none of them have coasters like Mine Blower, White Lightning or Freedom Flyer. I wish some of them would invest a bit more. Thanks again to Sean for being my Chauffeur. How did we not get a selfie the entire night? Lol. Related Videos:

![]() We're not quite done with new rides opening for 2017 and yesterday Orlando saw it's newest coaster opening at Fun Spot America. Mine Blower looks amazing and we'll have a full review of the ride later this week. Written by Renée Girard Today's the day! Orlando's newest coaster, Mine Blower, has officially opened at Fun Spot America. A little bit of theming added to the entrance of Mine Blower. This coaster flies up the lift hill right into the first drop! After the drop you go right to the inversion, and it looks awesome! Some finishing touches still going on at the bottom of the coaster. Mine Blower speeds through the track with happy riders. We didn't have a chance to ride it tonight but will this week! If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check out the POV of this amazing ride.
