Farmington, UT (March 25, 2014): It’s go time. Lagoon Amusement Park will be open weekends beginning Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:00a.m. (weather and other factors permitting). Lagoon has been thrilling Utah families since 1886 and will open its gates for another season of fun on March 29th. Lagoon boasts over 50 rides, Lagoon A Beach waterpark, historic Pioneer Village, along with games, food, fun and gifts. From roller coasters to entertainment, there’s something for everyone at Lagoon. Lagoon’s season runs from March 29 through October 30 with live entertainment and fun-filled attractions all season long. New for 2014, enjoy the extraordinary talent of Cirque Innosta in Bosque, a stunning visual show sure to delight audiences of all ages. This unique show will combines high-end acrobatic skill, comedy, spectacular visuals and a driving soundtrack. Bosque will run June 30 through August 16. Lagoon is an amusement park in Farmington, located seventeen miles north of Salt Lake City. It is privately owned. It has nine roller coasters, three of which are unique; one of these being Colossus the Fire Dragon, which is the only Schwarzkopf Double Looping coaster still in operation. Another is the park's largest and fastest coaster, Wicked (2007). The third one is BomBora, the newest family coaster.

Or just soak up the sun on Blastenhoff beach while the family explores Hans Hideout. Rides our guests can enjoy include: Master Blaster Uphill Water Coaster: Six stories tall! Over 1000 feet in length! This high thrill ride does not disappoint. Black Knight: Slide down these twin, totally enclosed water slides. Blastenhoff Beach: Soak up the sun with a good book or play in the waves on this relaxing beach. Also the entrance to the Torrent Wave River. Torrent Wave River: The Tidal Wave River is a continuous wave river experience. A fan favorite at Schlitterbahn! Han’s Hideout: Five Story Water Fun House for older children to play and slide and have fun getting splashed. Kinderhaven: Water play are for toddlers and children, featuring an activity pirate ship. Water will be heated for Spring Break. Skycoaster: Freefall Swing Ride (there is an extra charge to ride the Skycoaster.) Bamboozle Bay: Heated Pool and Swim-bar featuring a zero entry beach.
