 Today we've got a LONG overdue look at the awesome Scarywood at Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho. Check out some amazing pics by Matt at this event that most of us will never get to see in person!! My favorite entrance to any scare zone anywhere...  Lights in Clown Town  Log Flume is OPEN! It was about 50 degrees, maybe a little cooler by the end of the night.   Dolls!  Scarecrows  Good menu selection.  Tremors - Front Row in Near Total Darkness There's a strobe light facing riders at the bottom of the first drop- other than that NOTHING to light the way. It was AWESOME!  3Dementia  Maze with a cool entrance, but not scary at all. Some cool design and neon paintwork- but the monsters were doing the 'move weirdly and look bored' type thing that sucks.   Total Darkness It's the Feel Around maze. You just have to hang on to a wall and feel your way through.  Spidery stuff!  Big ole spider   Planet Zombie Arguably the best maze - reminded me of a cross between Aftermath at SFMM Fright Fest, and Infected:Special Ops at Knott's Scary Farm. REALLY would benefit from the Infected gun setup though- there's even a video as you wait in line where a guy screams "HEADSHOTS!"  Planet Zombie is very popular - it was the only real line for a maze we waited in last night  Spooky Roundup  Scrambler and Corkscrew in the dark  Spooky Scarecrow Land  Clown Town fun!  More Lights In Clown Town  Hi Clown!  Blood Bayou This was my favorite maze- the talent was ON, and it felt like a cross between Voodoo at Knotts Scary Farm (the first AMAZING year), and Slaughterhouse. Very detailed, plenty of fun scares.  Had a great night at ScaryWood!! Definitely recommended if you're going to be anywhere near the park. Related Videos:
