This past weekend we made our first ever trip to the Winchester Mystery House, and we were full of regret. Regret that this was our first ever trip to the Winchester Mystery House. Because it's such an amazing place to visit with so much to see that we feel we missed out not visiting earlier. So today we're going to give you a little taste of the Mystery House, but we're also going to leave a lot of the Mystery out there, because you need to experience it for yourself. Written by Gregg Condon Welcome to the Winchester House, a California Historical Landmark While you're waiting for your tour to begin spend some time shopping for merchandise, they have a lot of awesome stuff to take home. I personally can recommend the hoodie, it's a great price, it's nice and soft and it's going to come in real handy for those cool October evenings at Haunted events. =) You can also grab a snack or a coffee and enjoy the afternoon sun in the courtyard. And then it's time for your tour to begin. Note: The Winchester Mystery House does not allow pictures inside, we were given special permission. Below are some highlights of the Mansion Tour. This door is the height of Sarah Winchester. Be careful on the tour, you could hit your head (I did once). Stairway to Nowhere The Stained Glass Room Some of the rooms provide great views of the property The Easy Riser stairs. These are fun to walk up. Sarah's Bedroom Who wouldn't want to sit here and have Brunch or Afternoon Tea? Rooms still showing damage from the 1906 Earthquake More amazing views The Grand Ballroom, and probably my favorite picture we took And thus concludes our Mansion Tour of the Winchester Mystery House We also put together a highlight video of the Explore More Tour which will share more info on later this week. Thanks again to the Winchester Mystery House for having us out, we can't wait to come back and experience more mysteries. Related Updates:
