 Today we have our udpate from the always fun holiday event, Chill at The Queen Mary. If you've visited Dark Harbor you'll kind of see this as bizarro Dark Harbor but with Holiday Cheer and family fun all around. Enjoy! Written by Scott Linder Welcome to Chill!!   Just a little over a month ago this was scary looking     All of the buildings have been re-themed for Chill  Amazing Holiday singers      Lots of fun walkthroughs are always in the dome, this year themed to Alice in Wonderland      Kitty    Need to do this in our living room    Fun with perspectives   Meow    Lots of great props in the walkthrough       Let's play some chess    And of course, no event would be complete without lots of fun stuff to buy    Fooooood!    Ice Skating fun just outside The Queen Mary  Definitely a fun event as it is every year. We did kind of miss the "chill" part with the lack of ice sculptures this year but it's definitel a fun holiday event for the entire family. Awesome Carolers   For those familiar with Dark Harbor you'll be pretty familiar with the layout of Chill   Our favorite part of Chill was easily the Ice Kingdom   Sliding in a tube ... check  Stage for singers ... check     Ice House ... check  Everything in the house is made of ice ... including the walls. So yeah, it's cold. They give you parkas but we suggest gloves as well.      Great scenes made of ice    Ice Slide!!!  Great Cancy Lane with lots of snacks and more  Ice Skating in the shadow of The Queen Mary  Opening night featured skydivers lighting the tree  Penguins!!!   Thanks Queen Mary for a great night of fun. Everybody should go check out Chill, it's great family fun!!  |
