Written by Renée Girard It's a warm, spring night so we thought we'd stop by Epcot for a bit! Still haven't been to Flower & Garden Festival during the day, but the sunset views are always lovely! Pretty cool photo op by the butterfly garden at Epcot. Beer flight in Canada? Yes, please! Sampled a few brews from Unibroue. We paired the pulled pork slider with 3 Daughters Phantasmas, an awesome spicy double IPA, at the Smokehouse in America. Do you like cheese and berries? We do! The cheese strudel with berries from Germany is delicious. It's always an enjoyable evening when you're strolling around the world at Epcot! We'll also hop over to Disney's Animal Kingdom for a quick visit to take in Rivers of Light again. Written by Renée Girard Tonight we are also making a quick stop at Epcot to see some of the Flower & Garden Festival that just started recently. The character topiaries are always a highlight of the festival. Looks great so far! And let's not forget the food & drinks! At Urban Farm Eats, I tried the Crabless Cake with Wildflower pale ale. The Berry Basket is new this year. Might have to make a stop there next visit! Florida Fresh is a favorite stop of mine, mainly for the beer! Chocolate cake at the Smokehouse is amazing! They have a great selection of merchandise for the festival. Loving all the Figment. I might have bought the Mickey ears. Epcot looks just beautiful this time of year. During sunset is a lovely time to take a walk around and smell the flowers at Epcot. And when the sun goes down, the topiaries all light up and it is also quite magical. Enjoyed our short visit to Epcot for a bit of Flower & Garden Festival fun. Since it runs through May, we'll definitely be back! Extreme park hopping! Now we're at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Really love this park at night. Drinking a beer with a light up lotus blossom, just because I can Related Updates: ![]() Happy Monday everybody, we hope you all had an awesome weekend. We had an exceptionally busy weekend which means we've got a LOT of updates for you this week. We'll start off with a look at Star Wars Land at Disneyland where buildings have finally gone vertical, and some seem to be going underground? We'll explain below. Written by Gregg Condon Here we are, back on the Mickey and Friends parking structure and taking a look at a Galaxy Far Far Away ... As you can see to the left, one of the buildings has gone vertical, and it doesn't look like it's done growing yet. Obviously we don't know what is what at this point just that it's going to look like Star Wars eventually. Obviously lots of work to be done in the next 2 years. From here you can also get a look at the new "berm" for the Disneyland Railroad and some of the rock work they are doing. To the far left (just below the Matterhorn) you can see one of the entrances to Star Wars Land that will go under the railroad. Moving over to the right, lots being done that we can't see due to the trees. Oh, and there is Guardians Tower of Terror (which we totally forgot to get pictures of) A closer look at some of the rockwork going on. As we move up to the top of the structure, a few more overview pics. Alright, that's going to wrap it up for this update. Maybe one of these days we'll actually get inside the parks and do a proper Star Wars Land update. But since we visit so rarely we're hoping to plan a trip after the Railroad opens this summer. Thanks for reading. Related Updates:
