Today we've got a great update from Florida and the all new Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios!! The land has been open for a few weeks now and everything seems to be going well in the land, even able to get some day-of Fastpasses which is awesome!!
Of course, being that we're at DHS might as well take a look at Galaxy's Edge and Skyliner progress!! Enjoy!!

Finally visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios tonight. I guess they have a new land or something?
The Skyliner over at DHS has really grown quite a bit. It spans across one side of the parking lot.
A look at the vertical construction over on Galaxy’s Edge at DHS.
Pixar Place is no more.
Got a delicious Round ‘Em Up Latte from Joffreys Coffee before heading into Toy Story Land
Hey howdy hey! We’re in Toy Story Land
No more “Midway” in the name and new entrance for Toy Story Mania at DHS.
Scored a fast pass for Slinky Dog Dash. Let’s ride!
Some decent views of Galaxy’s Edge can be seen in Toy Story Land and while riding Slinky Dog Dash.
So Slinky Dog Dash is really fun! The launches, twists, hills and theming make it a terrific coaster for all.
Woody’s Lunchbox isn’t a huge food location, but decent quick service and fits well in the land. I tried the grilled cheese and tots.
The Toy Story characters and toys throughout Toy Story Land are super cute.
Lack of shade definitely could be an issue with Toy Story Land in the hot Florida sun. Several umbrellas placed along the side offer some relief.
Some of the merchandise available for Toy Story Land
I had planned on waiting around till dark to see more of Toy Story Land and ride Alien Swirling Saucers, but the typical Florida thunderstorm started up and I didn’t want to get stuck. Ah well, till next time then!
I didn’t walk away empty handed. Had to buy the green alien light up cup on the way out!
Happy Memorial Day, we hope you're all enjoying your Monday and taking some time out to remember those who have given us our amazing freedoms here in the US.
Today we've got a great update from Disney's Hollywood Studios and Star Wars Land!!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge construction upon approaching the entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
One of the stations for the WDW Skyliner has appeared to have popped up next to the entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
With a wait time of only 5 minutes, I’ll go take a flight on Star Tours. I highly doubt you’ll see Star Wars attractions with a queue this short next year.
The transformation into Toy Story Land is almost complete! Toy Story Midway Mania getting a bit of last minutes work done inside and out.
Only a little over a month to go till the grand opening of Toy Story Land. Everything we’ve seen looks great so far. I can’t wait!
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway seems to be the least anticipated attraction compared to Toy Story and Star Wars. But I love a good dark ride, so hopefully this one will be a hit.
The model of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge looks like it’s going to be incredible. If Pandora is still pulling in 2+ hour waits, I can’t imagine what this will be like.
Ending my DHS evening with the classic Coaster/Tower combo. I love hitting all of the major rides in a short amount of time before the summer madness begins.
We're back with another one of Renée awesome runDisney updates, this time from the Star Wars Half Marathon: The Dark Side at Walt Disney World.
It was an entire weekend on the roads of Walt Disney World, let's get right to it!!

We are ready to begin day one of the First Order Challenge in the WDW Star Wars half marathon weekend.
Looking forward to seeing all of the awesome and creative costumes, like this one, out there on the course.
Some people have interesting pre race warmups. I approved of this one! Naps are essential.
And we’re off!
Storm Troopers at Spaceship Earth right before the finish of the Star Wars 10k. Day one of the First Order Challenge is complete! On to the half marathon tomorrow...
Good morning from WDW! It’s time for the final day of the Star Wars Half weekend. Have fun, stay hydrated, and may the course be with you!
A few shots of the fireworks going off at the start of the Star Wars Half
Ever wonder how many people participate in runDisney events? This view of the starting corrals is just some of them. Congrats to all!
While Disney always does a great job with their characters during the Star Wars Half , the fan created ones are also absolutely fantastic! Thanks for coming to support the race this weekend!
Happy Earth Day and happy 20th birthday to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We won’t be at the park today for the festivities but got to run through at sunrise during the Star Wars Half .
