Today we have another fantastic update from Florida and the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival as well as a look at the progress for Disney Springs. We are really looking forward to seeing Disney Springs once it's completed. Written by Renée Girard Click any of the pictures below to see a larger version Going to brave the heat for some flowers and food at Epcot today, as the final month for Flower & Garden Fest begins I absolutely love the new Star Wars retro Disney attractions t-shirts! There are literally no lines at the food booths today. A big difference from what it's like during Food & Wine Fest. Trying the mezze lune pasta with La Rossa beer in Italy. Mountains and things over in Norway for Frozen. Voices of Liberty, probably the best entertainment act at WDW. Always put on a wonderful show. Lots of work going on at Disney's Boardwalk Resort, with the new Ample Hills Creamery, and Flying Fish renovations. Epcot looks good all year round, but it's even better during the Flower & Garden Festival! Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival runs through the end of this month so catch it while you can! The Earfell Tower might be gone, but the water tower at Disney Springs is up and ready for their opening on May 15. Disney Springs is opening in just a few weeks, but it looks beautiful and ready to go! The walls are partially down. Looks great! Say goodbye to Fulton's. Paddlefish will be joining the Disney Springs family later this year. The signs up at the BB Wolf's Sausage Co kiosk look awesome! Dark chocolate blueberry is the current chocolate being given out at Ghirardelli. It's quite good! The STK sign is lit up and the outdoor seating area is ready for their opening soon. Another structure in the process of being built across from STK at Disney Springs. More progress at the Coca Cola store at Disney Springs. Looking good! An extremely rare sight, no line at Earl of Sandwich! Sign is up for the AristoCrepes kiosk. Really looking forward to trying this one! Thanks again to Renée for another amazing update from Orlando. We are really excited to see all of the awesome new things at Disney Springs once it reopens. What's going to be the first thing you try? Related Updates: May the 4th be with you ... Today we have a great update from Renée and all the work being done at Disney's Hollywood Studios to get ready for both Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land. Be sure to check out all the amazing thing to do at this park now. (see what we did there?) Written by Renée Girard Taking a quick walk through Disney's Hollywood Studios today. New walls are up near the front. Star Wars has more of a presence in DHS over Frozen now. The new Star Wars stage show takes place several times a day. With 90+ temps this week and no shade, this location can't be the most comfortable, but this guy doesn't mind. Another look at the work going on towards the front of Disney's Hollywood Studios. Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple has a ton of show times. Kylo Ren is now incorporated in Jedi Training, as well as Darth Vader. Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away stage show features clips from the films, all your favorites characters, and fire! Fairly minimal waits at Star Wars Launch Bay, especially compared to how they used to be for Star Wars Weekends! Muppets and Mama Melrose's are literally the only things in the back section of the park. Some of the walls up around the former Streets of America, making way for more Star Wars. The back half of the other side of the park is also pretty sparse. The back half of the other side of the park is also pretty sparse. I should never go to theme parks when I'm hungry. I end up leaving with a Thumper cupcake. They sure do have big plans at Disney's Hollywood Studios! Can't wait to see all of the changes and additions! Thanks again to Renée for another amazing update. It's amazing to see all the work being done to Star Wars Lands on both coasts. Related Updates: Today we have a special treat and a rare (for us) update from Disneyland. Our good friend Christopher got some great shots of Autopia at Disneyland yesterday so we have a first look at the refurbed cars and ride now sponsored by Honda. Written by Christopher Moghtaderi As you are aware, Honda has taken over the sponsorship of Autopia. This may be a good move for Disney as Chevron does not have the greatest image at the moment. Unfortunately, it does not appear much is changing for Autopia. The cars have been waxed, buffed, and possibly repainted. As you can see in the photos, Honda has also re-branded the vehicles with the Honda logo and had some re-striping done. It looks as though they are also replacing some technology in the queue but that remains to be seen (I will send photos of that tonight). Blue Sky Cellar has been reopened as an AP guest location. Presenting your Annual Pass gets you access to a special preview of "Seasons of the Vine," a documentary on California's Wine Growing industry. Additionally, guests receive special collector pins (one per week) and recipe cards featuring food from the food and wine festival. Other than the preview spot to watch part of the film, not much has really changed with the exception of the infamous "AP" logo that Disney uses. Related Updates: |
