![]() Welcome to another update from Universal Studios Hollywood. We've got a lot of great stuff to share in this update including some CityWalk updates, the final touches for Secret Life of Pets (which we got an awesome tour of, but sadly we can't spill the beans quite yet) and of course, Super Nintendo World. We're going to start off in CityWalk since that's what we saw first!! Written by Gregg Condon It's Happening!! Seriously can't wait for this to open. It was a beautiful day at the park! First stop of the day. Let me just say, you're not going to be disappointed. And as Forrest, Forrest Gump would say ... "and that's all I have to say about that" (for now) The facade is looking fantastic! As well as Pets Place, which is getting some work done on both sides of the street. Wonder if they'll have dryers in here for after you watch Waterworld in the splash zone? =) Store, coming soon!! Headed in for one last walk-through of The Walking Dead (for now). From a couple of years ago, 360 degree video of The Walking Dead. And of course, had to go into Wizarding World. I got a new iPhone 11 Pro and wanted to see the capabilities of the camera. Quite impressed with the Night Mode. Will take some time to work out all the kinks, but overall very happy with it. Can't wait to use it during Haunt season. (although I do wish the video function had a night mode) Moving down to Super Nintendo World That wall is going to be annoying. =) Jurassic World is still closed as they add in the new Dino!! And lastly, the classic Universal Studios Hollywood sign is getting some work done Alrighty, that'll wrap it up. We'll have a new update for SLOP when we're allowed to, so stay tuned for that. And we'll keep our ears open for Soft Opening dates. Have a great weekend!

![]() Today we have another update from Universal Studios Hollywood as we take a look at all that is going on around the park. And there is a lot. From new eateries in CityWalk, the new for 2020 attraction getting very close to being completed and of course the still officially unannounced Super Nintendo World. Written by Gregg Condon Welcome to CityWalk where the Hard Rock Cafe is no more. Soon to be replaced presumably by Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. Is this a candy store, clothing store? Never have been able to figure it out. =) NBC Sports Grill will be opening before Toothsome. Hey Harry!! We headed to the Studio Tour for some fun and a couple of pics of Super Nintendo World Lots of work going on No evident track, etc within the buildings. But they definitely aren't messing around. From the other side. We obviously don't know for sure, but would imagine the building with the store/restrooms, panda express and food location will be removed to make room for Super Nintendo Land. Can't imagine the only entrance being near Transformers. And maybe even the backside of Jurassic Cafe, which I believe is a security office right now. An overview of the entire lower lot. I know it may look like Mummy is larger than Super Nintendo World from this angle, but it's not. And obviously we still don't know how much higher they are going here since we don't have official artwork for this park yet. There's an entire section that isn't too vertical at this point. On the upper lot, Secret Life of Pets is getting close to opening. No official date yet, but can imagine it will be soon. The outside facade looks great. Of course, we're not sure what the pets will think of their new neighbors. =) Great use of forced perspective here. What we assume will be the rides entrance. Road signs in case you get lost. Coming Soon!! We'll have some more info about the attraction soon. Stay tuned!! Thanks for checking out the update and of course, as always, the support of the site. If you missed our Lunar New Year Update yesterday be sure to check it out. Related Videos:
