1/29/2022 Six Flags Magic Mountain Update - Tatsu Paint and Wonder Woman FLight of Courage Update #5Happy Saturday Everybody and welcome to another update from Six Flags Magic Mountain. Today we've got lots of pics and video of the Tatsu Paint Job (which is the biggest project you can see in the park right now) and of course, progress on the area around Wonder Woman Flight of Courage. Lots to get to, so let's jump right in.  Welcome to Magic Mountain where it took me less than 14 seconds to get through security. Take that other parks! Be sure to check out our video update! Now with goofy faces in the thumbnail!!!  They've really done a lot of work since our last update!   They weren't working during our visit, likely due to the wind.  Hey Revolution!  Doesn't look like anything going on with the queue
 Some parts are done, some parts not. But you can see the cables stretched up to the top of the lift below.   Would love to see the Sky Tower get some love, but don't count on it.  Is it wrong that I think the half green/half orange supports look good?  Since they couldn't be up in the air, they were painting the station. New on the right, old on the left!  They've completed the final break run, sorry for whoever had to clean up all the gum and crap on the floor. If you've ridden Tatsu you know what I mean.  For those curious, Viper is still offering it's single rider line!  Ninja is running 1-train at this time. Sorry, one unit. =)  Over at Wonder Woman, not a whole lot of progress on this side of the coaster.  There was a hole in the wall! Most of the work right now seems to be concentrated on the DC Universe side.  No joke, as soon as I stood up, some of the parks awesome PR staff was laughing at me. Hey, we don't make the holes, but we're gonna use them!  There will be graphics on this wall soon, maybe even this weekend. I anticipate once vertical construction starts, it's going to go VERY quickly.   Picked up my ParkScape as I was leaving. I'll put together a timelapse of me putting it together soon. Related Videos

Happy Monday! It's time for another update from Six Flags Magic Mountain, checking out the progress on Wonder Woman Flight of Courage and the Tatsu paint job. Not too much has changed since our update last week, but our vlog update does contain some work going on with both Wonder Woman and Tatsu from a distance! Enjoy!! Written by Gregg Condon  Welcome to SFMM!  No new progress on the new restroom  Holiday in the Park merchandise was still everywhere, as well as the food items. Expect to see this stuff being removed this week.  GIGA COASTER CONFIRMED!!  But likely just some concrete/plumbing work.  Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth is still there, but they were doing a lot of work on this side of the site. Which meant we couldn't see a whole bunch.  A truck was there, doing something.  No new progress here, expect that to change very soon.  Sorry for the extreme zoom, down near the DC Universe Store they were doing some work. Check out our vlog for more.  Hope the bus stays after Holiday in the Park  The path between The Underground and Tatsu is now closed due to Tatsu repainting.  Train is just sitting there, you'd think they'd want it inside.  At least one train is in the warehouse, maybe two as there were none in the station.  They were prepping the first drop for paining on Friday. Likely more has been done over the past few days. 1/1/2022 Mega New years Update From Six Flags Magic Mountain (Wonder Woman Flight Of Courage Update #3)Happy New Year and welcome to a new year of updates from Six Flags Magic Mountain! We've got a pretty big update for you today since we haven't been to the park since late November. Lots of pics and video of Wonder Woman/DC Universe construction, Tatsu paint, new bathroom and some thoughts on where we hope The Flash may end up! Enjoy! Written by Gregg Condon  After a few days of rain, it was a beautiful sunny day at Magic Mountain.  Be prepared, if you're going on a vaccination/testing day, the line for testing can get long.  If you're vaccinated you can skip all of this.  They weren't holding early entry at the plaza, so we got to walk into the park. Most people went for the Flash Pass, we've started skipping it since we can ride things quick at opening.  First stop was Goliath
New per-ride Flash Pass options. All of them were $10 and included Goliath, Twisted Colossus, Tatsu, X2 and a few others.  This Security thing seemed new to me at Twisted Colossus.  Selfie Wall!  Over at DC Universe, not a whole lot of work going on since our last update. The Flash is still gone. Wonder Woman sign is still up.  Nothing new here either, the rain has washed some dirt away so you can see what has been torn up for Wonder Woman. The rest of the concrete looks like it's staying.   Now that Holiday in the Park is over, we'd anticipate construction picking up rather quickly.  Snow on the mountains around the park, always a nice thing to see. It's definitely needed here.  There's been a pause on the Tatsu paint job since the ride was open during Winter Break.  It's looking absolutely amazing!  The colors really pop  Before and after. This was a much-needed repaint.     A nice close up  Nothing on this side yet. We'd anticipate Tatsu closing after this weekend so they can finish the job.   Waiting for the ride to open. People sure do love Tatsu.  Viper is down to 1 train right now. Apparently one of the trains valleyed just before the corkscrews a few weeks back.  We noticed these back in November, figured there were some replacement banners being put on.  And here they are  This one needs a bit of smoothing out. Wish they'd go back to the metal ones they used to have.  And lastly, the restrooms near the Flash Pass office are now gone, a new one will be put in it's place. Long overdue. Related Videos
