Today we continue our look at Holiday Events for 2018 at Holiday In The Park at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Just a few short weeks after the fogs and screams of Fright Fest we are greeted with snow and lights as far as the eye can see. This years event has two new area's and lots of great food to try when their Taste of the Holidays food festival begins on December 15th. We will definitely be back for that!!

Welcome to Holiday In The Park!!
Our first stop was to the Metro Park Pub to check out some of the food coming for Taste of the Holidays!!
First up was this turkey wrap thing, which I loved!
Who doesn't like some ribs?
Both the Slider and Cherry Pie Nachos were fantastic
After stuffing our faces for a bit, we headed out to the all new area in the park, Merry Lane. (Don't worry, more food pics are below)
We absolutely LOVED this new area, some great photo ops and snow!!
We've already pitched the idea that they should bring these back for Fright Fest next year, but have them be Jack O' Lanterns.
You can even go inside some of the bulbs!!
Don't miss our Holiday In The Park Video!!
It's nice to see them using the lighting on Justice League to fit the area.
We also headed over to one of our favorites, Rockin' Universe.
This was seriously the only pic we took, but we have lots of video of the area above.
Another one of our favorite area's. So different, and that's amazing.
Giant walking Candy Cane!!
Santa's Cottage has moved from up near Tatsu to down by Bugs Bunny World. A much better location.
The next two pics show how a photo is made!! Lol.
Send a letter to Santa!!
Mrs. Claus will make sure all of your letters get delivered on time.
Full Throttle Nights are back!!
The front of the park always looks spectacular for the holidays
Here's our Construction Update!! =)
Always one of our favorite area's of the park
Oh, we promised you some more food pics didn't we!!
Root Beer Cake!!!
Some kind of pudding thing with a cookie thing on the bottom
It was yummy
More of the great food coming to Taste of the Holidays including a Guinness Sloppy Joe and a Prosciutto Mac and Cheese!!
Rice Pudding and Elote!!
Last and most definitely not least, we wanted to share this little guy.
When you go to the park make sure to buy one of these for only $12.99. For each one purchased the park will donate one to CHiPS for Kids!!
When you purchase one, be sure to share to your social media and tag us!! Everybody who shares a pic with their Furry Friend will get something from IAAPA!!
We hope you enjoyed our look at Holiday in the Park and are making plans to visit. We will most definitely be back!!
A couple of weeks back, Renee and Andrew headed to Texas for a fun weekend, which meant stops at both Six Flags Fiesta Texas and ZDT's.
Obviously, one of the highlights of the trip was the all new RMC Coaster, Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster.

Ready for a Six Flags day!
Rope dropped it over to Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster.
First train of the day on Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman is so fun! Too bad lines will be long the rest of the day, otherwise I would definitely love to ride again.
I need a drink after this. And some Tylenol.
Another great RMC coaster, Iron Rattler. A little on the short side but super fun!
These sound amazing on a hot day in Texas... if this place was actually open.
Pickle on the rocks, anyone?
Going for a ride on Goliath!
Hasta La Vista, Fiesta Texas ! On to the next Texas Adventure!
Not too far from San Antonio, we stopped in Seguin, TX at ZDT Amusement Park for their unique Switchback coaster.
This past weekend we headed out to Six Flags Magic Mountain to take a look at the progress on Project 2019 (which will be announced in just over 2 weeks), Fright Fest Prep (which begins next month if you can believe it) and of course a few rides on CraZanity.
Let's head into the park!!

Like most of our recent updates, you can have your update in picture or video form.
Ops on CraZanity have improved TREMENDOUSLY since opening, averaging just a few minutes between dispatching.
And the ride is of course amazing. And seems to be VERY popular. Hopefully this is a good sign for more flat rides in the future.
They've also added some fences around the landscaping to keep people out. I'd imagine more plants will be added here once the summer months are over.
Let's head over into the soon to be extinct, Cyclone Bay.
The park has begun teasing the 2019 attraction, lots of things here definitely support some of the rumors going around about the ride.
Apocalypse is down for the count, a lot of track has been removed already.
The last time you rode this ride as Apocalypse was the last time you rode this ride as Apocalypse. =)
Bye Cyclone Bay, wish we could say you'll be missed but ...
Lots of prep work being done for the new attraction and development behind the park.
The park is already promoting Fright Fest
The facade for Sewer of Souls is looking amazing. Can't wait to see inside.
The past few re-themes of this maze have been merely cosmetic, that does not seem to be the case this time.
Keep out ... for now.
And lastly, a new air conditioner was installed on the Orient, err, Helpful Honda Express. It's a Big'un.
Alright everybody, that's gonna wrap it up. We hope you enjoyed.
Be sure to check back tomorrow as we'll have the full announcements from Canada's Wonderland and their 2019 attraction.
